After losing both my beloved dogs, Mila and Jojo within a couple years of each other, I found myself wanting to preserve every precious memory I had of them; from the daily walks that became our regular routine, to the silly moments that still make me smile. I searched for a place to collect these memories, but couldn't find quite what I was looking for: a space that truly understood how our pets are family members, not just animals that have entered our lives.

That's why I created Memories of Pets. Born from my own journey through grief and remembrance, this project is my way of helping other pet parents preserve the countless small moments that make up a life shared with our animal companions. Whether it's mapping the favorite walking routes you took together, saving the photos that capture their unique personality, or writing down the little stories you never want to forget - I wanted to build a place where all these precious memories could live on.

This isn't just another pet memorial website. It's a passion project shaped by the understanding that every tennis ball fetched, every purrfect cuddle, and every morning greeting matters. Because our pets give us their whole lives, they deserve to be remembered in all the beautiful, selfless, and extraordinary ways they touch ours.
